The DASH buses in Alexandria, Virginia, are going to be sporting a quiet electric motor. ASA School+ is a nine-week educational program for students in kindergarten through fifth grade introduced by Alexandria Soccer Association, according to a news release. Sarah Shannon, who teaches at Alexandria Country Day School Second Grade, ran 20 miles on a recent Friday to visit her students in person. Shannon sees her students regularly on Zoom during live lessons, small group work, and one-on-one conferences as part of the School’s remote learning program. Joseph Hensley is a 21.66-acre sports hub located at 4200 Eisenhower Ave, only three minutes from Exchange At Van Dorn. The Park is named for the late Joseph Hensley former Director of the Department of Recreation, Parks and Cultural Activities who was instrumental in the development of this facility.
