Electric Buses Are Going To Be Added In The Fleet Of Alexandria’s DASH

The DASH buses in Alexandria, Virginia, are going to be sporting a quiet electric motor. On Monday, the city’s DASH bus system unveiled new zero-emission electric buses, a first for the transit system that has used diesel and hybrid engines. The six buses are the first in the fleet that plans to switch to 100% sustainable zero-emission buses by 2035. School Year Program Launched By Alexandria Soccer Association

ASA School+ is a nine-week educational program for students in kindergarten through fifth grade introduced by Alexandria Soccer Association, according to a news release. ASA School+  follows the ASA’s new day camp program, Camp ALEX, that ran over the summer. This program aims to supplement students’ education while offering child care options for parents.
